Patrick Johnsen, based in Virginia Beach, has been the CEO of U.S. Flag Shipping for over five decades. He possesses extensive expertise in ship owning, ship management, ship finance, and private equity for marine infrastructure investments. Capt. Johnsen has held senior management positions at Attransco, Mobil Oil (ExxonMobil), Kirby Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and U.S. Shipping. His comprehensive knowledge spans global ship ownership, trading, and management. He is a graduate of the California Maritime Academy and holds a Master of Science from SUNY Maritime College. In addition to his advisory role at OlineGroup, he currently serves as faculty at the Virginia Maritime Academy.
