Patrick Johnsen, based in VA Beach, has been the CEO of U.S. flag shipping for over five decades. He has extensive experience in ship owning, ship management, ship finance, and private equity for marine infrastructure investments. Capt. Johnsen has held senior management positions at Attransco, Mobil Oil (ExxonMobil), Kirby Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and U.S. Shipping. He has a comprehensive understanding of global ship owning, trading and management. He is a graduate of the California Maritime Academy and Master of Science from SUNY Maritime College. Apart from advisory role at OlineGroup, currently he is serving as the faculty at the VA Maritime Academy.
